WILD FLOWER HONEY, CHEESE AND WINE GASTRONOMIC LONG WEEKENDS IN THE FRESH ALPINE AIR 

Set high on the slope of the Ville de Nant, a peaceful hameau between the lively ski resorts of Chatel and La Chappelle d'Abondance, La Ferme du Nant takes pride of place. This beautiful, charming old farmhouse, which once housed cattle in the winter, now offers our clients the luxury, comfort and spaciousness, which can only be found in properties of this nature.  La Ferme du Nant can accommodate between 10 and 18 people comfortably.

All of the rooms are large and have en-suite bathrooms, beds which can be either twin beds or zipped together to form a king-size double. All rooms have towels and dressing gowns and we provide Molton Brown in house shampoos, bath and shower gels.

Your accommodation is split over two levels. The first floor houses the dinning room and a cosy sitting room with fire. Also on this floor there is the main kitchen, plus three of the en-suite bedrooms. The upper floor has two comfortable ensuite bedrooms with bath and shower.  We devoted much time to planning the accommodation at La Ferme as we wanted to be able to offer large bedrooms along with a comfortable and relaxing environment for our guests.

Escape from the office and spend the weekend in the beautiful resort of Chatel, staying at our luxurious and charming old farmhouse. La Ferme du Nant is just an hour and a half from Geneva airport making Chatel an easy location to reach. You will be met at Geneva by mini bus and Joce, and driven to La Ferme du Nant where a warm welcome awaits you.  If you like the idea of fresh mountain air, the perfume of wild flowers and the sense of space and tranquillity that only the Alps can offer, then this is the place for you....all aspiring Heidi's!  And the food willbe wonderful too!

Morning excursion to Evian Market to shop for dinner
Lunch – A Swiss picnic by the lake
Return to La Ferme  - cooking class with Valentina preparing dinner with market produce using local honey, followed by a wine tasting over dinner

SATURDAY:

Breakfast
Mountain walk to visit a high mountain alpage farm to watch a cheese making demonstration
Lunch: Al Fresco in the mountain air
Leisurely descent through the floral mountain pastures and relaxing afternoon at the chalet – thrilling opportunity to ride the Fantasticable down the mountain (at an extra cost of €35 per person)
Cooking demo using local produce, including honey and local cured meats, and Raclette
Cooking class back at La Ferme cooking dinner with Valentina using local ingredients and a wine tasting over dinner

Lunch – results of lesson
